Pleating Felt
We manufacture pleating felt for use on fabric pleating machines, enabling pleating effects in applications such as clothing and furniture decoration. Its soft surface allows continuous operation at temperatures up to 250°C, while the aramid fiber construction significantly increases wear resistance and extends the service life of the felt.
Endless pleating felts, also called pleating tube felts or pleating sleeves, are shaped like a tube and used for continuous pleating of fabrics. Nomex pleating felt resists high temperatures and can accommodate a variety of shapes. It is ideal for synthetic fabrics used in garments, leather goods, and filters. Consequently, customers often refer to these products as endless pleating felt, pleating tube, or pleating sleeve. We typically manufacture them from 100% Nomex or Kevlar, while some specialized applications may require custom materials.
Our pleating machine felt is compatible with all 217 models of pleating machines. The widest width can reach 2400 mm, the circumference ranges from 540 mm to 560 mm, and the thickness is customizable, with the regular thickness being 4 mm. Nomex felt withstands temperatures up to 260°C, whereas Kevlar felt can resist up to 300°C, offering enhanced heat resistance and longer lifespan.
