One-Turn Felt

Manufacturers apply thick, needled laundry ironing felts in one continuous turn on top of the individual springs of heated chest flatwork ironers. In this configuration, a specialist must install the one-turn felt, using either top-to-top sewing or a bevelled cut joint.

To achieve optimal performance, we manufacture our one-turn felts using high-quality synthetic fibres such as polyester, meta-aramid, polyacrylonitrile, and other advanced materials.

As a result, our product range meets the requirements of virtually all ironers on the market:

• Weight: 3000 g/m² to 4200 g/m²

• Width: 1.65 m up to 4.35 m

Furthermore, for applications that require high-temperature resistance up to 205 °C, such as oil-heated ironers, customers can consult us directly. Notably, we continuously develop and expand our product range to meet evolving operational demands.

Advantages

• Our special needling process ensures uniform material thickness and prevents fibre layers from separating or losing fibres during operation.

Polyester Felt – Additional Benefits

• In particular, our specially selected polyester fibres resist hydrolysis effectively, preventing fibre degradation caused by heat and humidity.

• Moreover, we use coarser fibres to improve linen grip and increase air permeability by 2–3 times. Consequently, the ironer roll achieves stronger suction and higher ironing output.

Two-Turn Felt

Similarly, we design our needled laundry ironing felts to cover ironer rolls efficiently and reliably. We manufacture two-turn felts using advanced synthetic fibres such as polyester, meta-aramid, PTFE, PPS, or blended fibre combinations, depending on operating conditions and customer requirements.

Depending on the type of heated chest flatwork ironer, technicians can install two-turn felts:

• Either as one continuous piece with two turns, or

• Alternatively, as two separate one-turn pieces that half-overlap each other.

Accordingly, our two-turn felt range satisfies the needs of all standard ironers:

• Weight: 400 g/m² to 1300 g/m²

• Width: 1.60 m up to 5.00 m

Return Felt Belt

• Material: Polyester / Nomex® / combination

• Thickness: 3 mm or 5 mm

• Width: 148 mm – 215 mm

• Length: Up to 30 m

• Fastener: 304 stainless steel

We design our polyester / meta-aramid needled felt belt to deliver optimal ironing performance. The belt features a very smooth surface that produces a non-marking finish on linen while providing high air permeability. This increased permeability improves suction and boosts overall ironer output.

We construct the ironing felt belt with a needled felt structure reinforced by a heavy-duty polyester fabric scrim. We apply polyester fibres on one side and meta-aramid fibres on the heated roll side, allowing the belt to operate at temperatures of up to 200 °C.

We supply ready-made laundry felt belts with stainless steel hooks, reinforced fabric at both ends, a meta-aramid flap that covers the hooks, and a red or blue connecting pin for fast installation.

Feeding Felt Belt

To ensure smooth linen feeding, we manufacture a special compact 100% polyester needled felt belt. During production, we apply special finishing and heat-setting processes to guarantee stable and reliable operation. Additionally, we can perforate the belts for use with vacuum feeders.

At the same time, our laundry ironing felt belts feature a very smooth surface. As a result, they provide a non-marking finish on linen. Furthermore, we also supply covers for tracking and pressure rolls.

In terms of construction, we produce our feeding felt belt from 100% white compact polyester, reinforced with a heavy-duty multifilament scrim. Consequently, this design equips most modern ironers worldwide and effectively replaces traditional cotton feed belts.

Advantages

• Firstly, the heavy-duty multifilament internal scrim ensures perfect dimensional stability, with no elongation and no shrinkage.

• Secondly, the belt does not fray like cotton belts (ribbons); therefore, operators do not need to glue or patch the ends before hooking.

• Moreover, we melt both belt edges to prevent loose threads from hanging from the sides.

• In addition, the side in contact with the ironer drive roll features a rough surface; as a result, the belt achieves improved grip.

• Finally, this synthetic fibre belt provides a significantly longer working life than traditional cotton belts (ribbons).

To substitute the cotton belts with or without rubber, elastomer, PVC belt, etc.

Advantages:   

• Much better transport of the linen in the folders providing a more perfect folding of the linen specially in the cross folder section.
• Much larger dimensional stability: due to the property of the silicone, this silicone belt will stretche less than the cotton belts (for this reason it is eventually necessary to revise the dimensions of the belts with silicone)
• The working life is longer: 100% synthetic needled felt belt with non-slippery siliconized side will not fray like a traditional woven cotton belt.
• Less static electricity: due to its insulating properties, the siliconized belt has an excellent behavior regarding the negative problems of the static electricity.
