Lyman Xtech Aramid Felt (Nomex Felt)
The Lyman Xtech aramid felt is essential for thermal transfer press machines. These machines print synthetic fabrics with ink at high temperatures, reaching up to 230°C (450°F).
How It Works
This heat transfer paper carries the ink and undergoes sublimation on the fabric when exposed to high heat. The sublimation felt presses the fabric tightly against the printed paper and the heating roller.
Key Points:
- The contact time between the fabric and the inked paper must be long enough for effective dye transfer.
- Thermal transfer is a cost-effective method for printing on synthetic fabrics.
Additional Uses
Our heat transfer felt is also suitable for:
- Lamination
- Calendering
- Advertising sign transfer printing (banners)
