Daily Maintenance Guide for Paper Machine Blankets

Pre-installation precautions:

Check if the packaging is intact;
Verify that the product number, specification, and gram weight indicated on the package head are the same as the order content;
Open the package to inspect the appearance quality and specifications of the blanket, confirm the number and check the running arrow.

Clean the relevant parts of the paper machine;
Confirm the front and back sides of the paper blanket as well as its running direction;
Prevent oil stains and damage from hard objects to the blanket;
Do not forcefully pull the blanket.
Precautions during informal operation:
Make the blanket flat in all parts;
Apply clean water to evenly and fully moisten the blanket;
Tighten the blanket appropriately;
Check the status of all rollers and the blanket;
Apply a certain pressure;
Allow the paper machine to crawl;
Further tighten the blanket;
Apply pressure to the normal level;
Clean the softened blanket;
Turn on the washing water and vacuum system;
Adjust and check the running status of the blanket.

Make preparations before slurry discharge;
Adjust the tension of the blanket to the normal state promptly after slurry discharge;
Ensure that the pressure on both sides of the pressing section is consistent and adjust the pressure size in time;
Ensure the normal operation of the vacuum system and the washing system;
Observe the running state of the blanket and make adjustments in time;
Prevent the formation of slurry clumps and damaged paper clumps from entering the pressing area or the blanket.

Prevent the blanket from getting frayed, unevenly worn, unevenly washed, or damaged;
Use high-pressure water, fan-shaped water, and vacuum washing cabinets correctly;
Increase the frequency of continuous and regular washing of the blanket, and use chemical detergents reasonably;
When the machine is off for more than four hours, clean the blanket thoroughly and relax it completely.
